BRISBANE --> SYDNEY : FOR ~ TUESDAY 8TH SEPTEMBER 2015
I'm heading to Brisbane for work meeting (meeting is on Monday 7th September 2015). I'm heading back from Brisbane to Sydney on Tuesday 8th or Wednesday 9th September 2015. I will be driving back in my Ford Falcon station wagon, but I will have a few large boxes, so most of the storage in the rear of the vehicle will be taken, therefore a maximum of two people will be offered (so you have room for your gear).
Happy to take pretty much anyone, male or female and any age. You need to be a non-smoker in the vehicle. What you look like doesn't matter, as long as you are a nice person.
I have the rest of the week off, so am pretty flexible on the return leg to Sydney. If you'd like to stop somewhere, then we'd need to chat first to make sure we can chat and get along happily. You would also need your own tent, etc. as I sleep in my car when I stay somewhere overnight.
I have travelled all over Australia in this car, and absolutely LOVE it.
Me: Single male, 41, 178cm, professional and full-time employed (legal field). Peaceful and I'm quiet (at first, until I get to know you). Very easy going and if you want to stop somewhere particular, happy to oblige. I also like to stop at places that grab my attention during the drive, so spontaneous decisions work for me too.
Please understand, I've done this a few times, so have developed some common sense rules. Eg: before we depart, I will insist on seeing some form of formal photo identification (e.g.: passport). I will take a photo of this document and send to my sister so she knows exactly who I am travelling with. No ID = no lift. I'm sure any reasonable person would understand.
