ride wanted from Vancouver to Nelson
I have lived in Vancouver my entire life and now it's time for a change. So, me and my girlfriend are packing up our lives and moving east, possibly to Saskatoon...who knows.
But first we'd like to see some of Western Canada. Having lived in Nelson for a summer, I really want to show Rachel (my girlfriend) how beautiful the Kootneys are and how magical this place is.
The dates for departure are not firm. Anytime late May to June 1st is perfect. Departure time doesn't matter either.
Whatever's your speed is our speed, though if there is an option to see some places along the way like Osoyoos, we'd very much take you up on it. For passengers and luggage, it would be me and my girlfriend and two bags each.
I, Ira is a still striving filmmaker, who loves making no budget masterpieces, reading dusty volumes of old books, getting into deep conversations with complete strangers and traveling the world by bicycle. Rachel is a Nova Scotian, with a heart of pure gold, a professional chef, a lover of long walks in nature and my best friend.
Both of us are non-smokers and are great at car sing-a-longs.
We'd be willing to chip in for gas, a bit extra and buy snacks and such to nourish the mind and soul for the haul.
