I'm planning a road trip to visit my daughter in California and can take a passenger either on trip out (Kingston->Toronto->Detroit->Nashville->San Antonio->El Paso->Tucson->San Diego->San Francisco; depart Feb 9; arrive Feb 18), the trip back (San Francisco->Albuquerque->Oklahoma City->Memphis->Nashville->Detroit->Kingston; depart Feb 27; arrive back Mar 8), or both. I can pick up and drop off along those routes. The idea is to head rapidly south out of range of snowfalls, then drive for no more than 6 hours per day, stopping at nature sites for a few hours of hiking and sightseeing. I'm looking for one person for most of the duration of each of the two legs. My preference is someone in their forties through sixties. Must be an easy-going non-smoker. I have a large, eclectic music library for the trip. Fair expense share is negotiable, taking into account the person's means. I also have a lifetime no-accident driving history.
Looking for a lift from Kingston to Montreal on April 21, the date is flexible. Plus a return ride on the April 23, also flexible.
