My starting date is tentative but I do want to arrive in Anchorage in early August 2021. I'll leave from the West Coast and am flexible as far as the starting point. Can be anywhere from LA and north--SF, Portland, Seattle or anywhere in between but not too far off the interstate. From Seattle to Anchorage I plan on a driving time of around 5 - 7 days. I'll drive a 2017 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab with a shell. Since I'm moving there I'll have limited space for your stuff but I'm sure a good size backpack/duffle and daypack can fit. I plan to mostly motel it for ease of travel. On the road by 7am or so and off the road by 7 pm. I've driven long distances before but not on this highway. I'm comfortable driving 200 miles at a time and then breaking for gas/snack/meal. Definitely will explore a few sights along the way but it won't be a total leisurely road trip. You'd be responsible for all your expenses and a small contribution towards gas is appreciated. I'd consider at the max 2 riders. I plan to do the driving. No smokers. I'm a 65 yr old male in good health with a progressive view and a good sense of humor.
I’m driving south from Seattle area to San Francisco if anyone needs a ride in the beginning of July. Thanks.
