I will drive with my 6 year old, 85 lb. dog, Gemma, from Davis/Woodland to Great Barrington, MA. I will take I80 East to I90 which runs by Buffalo, Syracuse and Albany NY to in Western MA. I will take 5.5 days and stop at better motels/hotels off the interstate that allow dogs. I need someone to share driving and stay in separate rooms. I will probably stop briefly every few hours so Gemma can run around but otherwise intend to drive about 8 hours/day. I'm an older, former Marine, an architect/developer moving from Woodland to GB after completing the first homeless campus in CA.
