I actually am in western NC and the nearest big city is Atlanta, GA. I am interested in visiting the Old West, and stopping by ghost towns and interests of sight. I have no specific date and am in no rush. The trip can be any time in the Spring or Summer of 2018. I would be interested in someone to share gas and driving. The car is air conditioned. I am 50 years old. I am a teacher. Conversation is welcome but not required. I have an old dog (a beagle) who is very friendly. I don't smoke. I'm fairly easy going. If I am driving I do tend to listen to the car radio or classical music. I might camp en route if the conditions are favorable. The point of the trip is sight-seeing, so I would not likely take the main roads. I would take my time on smaller roads and stop periodically to visit the sites. If you have never seen the sights of the Old West this is a good opportunity. Would probably go through Nevada.
